Here’s our itinerary for heading to California:

Mon. Sept. 18—Drive to Lincoln, NE

Stay at our apt. (no phone)

We will have our cell phones with us, so if anyone needs to get in touch with us, that’s probably the best way.

We’d love to stop and see the sights on our drive, but we have to get to Pasadena before the office closes on Friday in order to get our keys because our things will most likely be delivered on Saturday. John wanted to drive by the Grand Canyon, but was discouraged when we couldn’t drive straight south from one highway and get on another. We’d have to turn around and drive back to the first highway. It seems there’s a rather large canyon in the way of the road. Imagine that. He was disappointed, but as I said, we’ll be living about 6 hours away by car. I’m sure we’ll make it there at some point!
